MyWalkup is a mobile app that helps baseball and softball teams create and manage in-game walk-up announcements. Create your team, add players, pick songs, and play custom audio intros during games and events — with professional, AI-generated voicing.

Game Mode is your game-day screen. It shows your team's ordered lineup, and you can drag to reorder players on the fly. Tap a player and their walkup plays right on cue — a pre-game team intro is included to open the game before the first batter steps up.

MyWalkup is available on both iOS and Android. Make sure you're on a recent operating system version, or the app may not be compatible.

Each player can have a custom walkup song that plays when they take the field. Pick a song from Apple Music or our free song library, choose the exact clip you want to play, and pair it with an AI-generated voice announcement.

No. MyWalkup includes a free song library you can use without any subscription. If you have an Apple Music subscription, you can pull from the full Apple Music catalog for more song choices.

No. At the moment, Spotify does not allow walkup introductions as part of its terms of service.

Pick your team's announcer voice with tap-to-preview, then build the intro from a template with placeholders for the player's name, number, and team. If a name is tricky to pronounce, you can fix it by spelling it how it sounds.

Yes. Players invited to join your team can select and customize their own walkup within the app. They just need a smartphone and a phone number.

You send invites by text message, right from your own phone using your own messaging app — MyWalkup doesn't send these for you. Once a player accepts, they can manage their own walkup, or you can keep managing it for them.

MyWalkup Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks automated AI voicing for unlimited players and teams, plus up to 5 saved walkups per player. It's billed monthly or annually, includes a free trial, and you can cancel anytime.

Every player can save 1 walkup on the free tier. With MyWalkup Pro, that goes up to 5 saved walkups per player.

The team owner needs to be Pro — if so, the entire team is considered Pro, even if players or managers aren't upgraded. The person who created the team is the owner by default, but ownership can be transferred to a team manager.

Subscriptions are billed and managed through the App Store or Google Play, not inside the MyWalkup app. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → MyWalkup. On Android: open the Google Play Store app → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → MyWalkup.

Certain Bluetooth speakers, including the JBL PartyBox, have firmware issues where the connection to your phone isn't maintained properly, cutting off part of the audio when it reconnects. Updating your speaker's firmware usually fixes this — see these JBL PartyBox firmware instructions.
